The Ford Ranger Raptor is a unique pickup truck designed to master its environment. So where better than the desert to let this truck&rsquo;s &lsquo;Performance DNA&rsquo; express itself?

&nbsp;

This is why, following on Ford&#39;s request, we chose Essaouira, in Morocco, for the launch of the new Raptor, and gathered nearly 350 European journalists who tested the pickup truck, appreciating its design and ability to tackle all kinds of terrain.

A unique experience that touched the heart of all participants.

The following days alternated between visits to monasteries, typical villages and traditional markets. The participants discovered breathtaking landscapes such as deep forests, hidden lakes, and amazing oases, riding motorcycles, by boat or on board dugout canoes. Encounters and experiences punctuated this programme in the heart of the country&#39;s traditions.

&nbsp;

Throughout the trip, as the guests moved from place to place, they had the opportunity to enjoy relaxing moments in 3 high-end hotels, some of which having taken them to unexpected locations.&nbsp;

9-day and 6-night programme for 40 people

For this incentive trip, the 40 customers and resellers began their adventure with a domestic flight to Bagan, one of the most astonishing sites in all of Southeast Asia, where thousands of history-filled stupas and temples are found.

An event combining professional visit and discovery of the city.

Divided into 2 groups, the participants first followed a guided tour of the Volkswagen Autoeuropa assembly plant, one of the most modern sites in Europe in the automotive sector, led by an interpreter. Then, they toured the city, discovering its most emblematic districts in an unusual way: on board &ldquo;tuk-tuks&rdquo; or &ldquo;GoCars&rdquo;.

&nbsp;

Tasting &quot;Pasteis de Nata&quot;, travelling across the city using its famous tramway, going up the famous &ldquo;Pilar 7&rdquo; to the panoramic view point bridge, meeting a traditional &quot;Tuna&quot;... Nothing was left to chance so that participants could experience the real Lisbon and feel what the city is made of.

2-day programme for 90 people

In November 2018, 90 Volkswagen authorised repairers, enjoyed a 2-day trip to Lisbon, capital of Portugal.

Pininfarina is not a car brand like any other. Historically a famous family-owned car design firm, it has become a manufacturer in its own right when unveiling its very first model, Pininfarina Battista. True electric hypercar with 1900 hp, this model is limited to 150 units.

 
For its first time at Geneva International Motor Show, the Italian company entrusted us with the task of organising a press conference to reveal this first model. This key moment culminated in a VIP evening event which gathered over 300 guests.

Trip to the heart of the rainforest

Divided into 3 groups, the participants first visited the country&rsquo;s capital, Panama City, its historic district and Canal Museum, before heading towards the tropical forest. Once inside Chagres National Park, they discovered the life of the Emberas Indian community, going down the river in a dugout canoe, fishing, tasting fresh fruit... This particularly immersive experience culminated in some free time to enjoy the seaside and its activities.

7-day and 5-night programme for 225 people

World famous for its canal, which is one of the most important trade routes in the world, Panama has remained an authentic country full of truly exotic experiences. 225 members of Volkswagen authorised repairers enjoyed a rewarding trip to this small country of Central America combining cultural immersion with a relaxing break.

90 European journalists gathered in the south of France to discover the new version of the legendary &quot;Mustang Bullitt&quot;, hero car in the iconic eponymous film (1968).

 
Participants stayed at the Cap d&#39;Antibes Beach Hotel, a 5-star hotel privatised for the event, they tested the car on the Route Napol&eacute;on, and enjoyed an exclusive outdoor screening of Bullitt on the beachfront, in the evening.
